There was so much food prep for tech week.

Sooooo much food prep.

While there was certainly more cooking than gaming happening with all the hubub of getting to and from practice, keeping the youngest kid entertained without another kid in the house to bug, and the constant dog walks (I cannot tell you how much I dislike 5:30pm in the dark walks), we found time for some rounds of Lorcana, and Fluxx, and eyed a round of Terror Below but didn’t quite make it there.

I did get to spend quite a bit of time sitting in a parking lot waiting for play practice to end. That sitting in the parking lot lead to a new idea that we’ll have available shortly; a heist game!

The general premise is that the players are an amateur baseball team who play games and plot crimes during the day and execute the plan at night.

I like to think I learned a lot from the launch of We Don’t Live on the Surface Anymore and will take some time to really set the rules up so this is a quick, fun, team-based game all while incorporating all the baseball puns I know.

So while this one cooks a bit longer, check out the games on DriveThru!
